This is a sight that I did not know that I'd ever see...Lucy falling asleep with a book. Now this is the girl who loved to be read to. She devoured every book (mostly Usborne!) that I brought into the house. Yet when it came time for her to read on her own, she really struggled. This school year has brought out a new side of Lucy. One that is confident and positive. She was trying to stay up until I got home from a CAbi show. When she woke up on Sunday morning, she was very excited to let me know that she had read for almost an hour! Not only had she read a good part of the Wizard of Oz, she had also completed The Little Cold Lady Who Swallowed Some Snow.
